all right friends welcome back to the library I did miss Kara tell you we're doing a science experiment That's so exciting right I was never that kid that like wanted to be a teacher I feel like I went into teaching because I didn't have anybody in school that I was like drawn to I didn't have a favorite teacher and so I feel like that was kind of my reason was I just wanted to lead and make an impact on people's lives and I felt like that was the best way to do it and to make sure that kids had memories from school and that they remember what they did they remember the opportunities that they have and I just wanted to be a teacher like that for kids cuz I didn't have that Miss Rivera is so deserving of this opportunity because of everything and how much she pours into this campus kids love walking in her classroom where her Library she brings a light to this campus she definitely and like he makes class more exciting by using those voices and it's just really fun to be in this class from an academic perspective sometimes a lot of kids struggle with certain things but when you allow them to explore in a different way to touch something to visually see something or to join a club like an High School Club where they're able to express themselves in a different way I just think it's so much more captivating and they learn different lessons right you're learning like life lessons not so much math and science maybe that's not your thing and I think that that's why it's really important as an educator to look at the whole child and see maybe they're not good at this but they might be good at this so let's provide opportunities for that I was a new kid most of my classmates have been here already they know everyone so it took me on how to make a friend Mr was 1 of my first friends when I came to the campus they just want them to remember that they were respected they were loved and that someone cared about them and I just want them to remember that feeling of I I was loved at school someone cared about me and someone cared enough about me to stay after school and run clubs or to do something where they can showcase a different side of themselves that's what I would say is kind of what really keeps the passion flowing through me
